Principali considerazioni:
Novembre ha mostrato il medesimo tasso di crescita dei mesi precedenti, cioe +13%, cioe’ 42m in Novembre e 270m nei primi 11 mesi dell’anno. Andamento migliore del resto dei vini che sono cresciuti di meno del 3% nel mese e del 6.5% negli 11 mesi;
I volumi continuano a crescere di oltre il 20%, come nei mesi precedenti;
il prezzo mix di conseguenza mostra un deterioramento di circa il 9%, leggermente superiore al 7.6% del resto dei vini.

Key trends:
In November the growth rate was similar to previous months, with a 13%  increase of exports in Euro, for about 42m in November and 270m in the first 11 months. This performance is by far better than 3% shown for the other wines in November and +6.5% for the rest of the year.
volumes continued to rise by over 20% in November, matching the performance of the previous months. As a result, the mix worsened by 9%, slightly more than the 7.6% deterioratoin of the rest of the wines.

Andamento per mercati:
– a livello mensile sono andati molto bene USA (+62%), Svizzera (+20%) e Spagna (+288%) rispettivamente con 5.1m, 3.4m, 1.5m;
-il principale mercato in Novembre e’ stato peraltro la Germania con 7.7m, seguito dagli USA.
– nell’arco dei primi 11 mesi, le esportazioni sono state di 48m in USA, 47m in Germania e 25m nel Regno Unito.
Trend of key markets:
– in November, USA (+62%), Switzerland (+20%) and Spain (+288%) were the best performers.
– the key market in November was Germany with 7.7m, followed by US
– in the first 11 months, exports were 48m in US, 47m in Germany and 25% in UK.

Muovendosi in un’ottica annuale (cioe’ sommando i dati mensili da Dicembre 2005 a Novembre 2006, a mio avviso il modo migliore di vedere i numeri), si possono fare le seguenti considerazioni:
– la crescita annuale e’ dell’11.1%, molto simile a quanto era nei 3-4 mesi precedenti;
– il miglior mercato (tra i primi 5) in termini di crescita e’ il Regno Unito con +16% (anche se Novembre e’ andato male), seguito dagli USA con +14% annuo;
– il maggior mercato in dimensioni e’ la Germania con 56m, contro 51m in USA;
– i volumi maggiori sono generati in Germania (280k hl su un totale di 1m hl esportati), seguito dagli USA (162k hl);
– il mix migliore tra i primi 5 mercati continua ad essere in Giappone (4.4EUR al litro), il peggiore in Germania (2EUR). La Germania continua a peggiorare da questo punto di vista, cosi’ come continua a mostrare segni di deterioramento gli USA (da 3.36 di un anno fa a 3.17 al litro di oggi).
– il grafico qui sotto mostra come si compone il +11% delle exportazioni annuali. Il commento principale riguarda l’andamento del mix, che continua a diminuire, ma il cui deterioramento comincia a stabilizzarsi (cioe’ la riduzione ha smesso di "accelerare").

Looking at yearly data (summing the monthly figures from Dec 2005 to Nov 2006, which is in my view the best way to look at trends), we can draw the following comments:
– annual growth is stable just above 11%, similarly to the last 3-4 months;
– the best market in terms of growth in the last 12 months has been UK with 16% increase (despite the bad performance in November), followed by US with +15%:
– the major market for exports is Germany with 56m, followed by 51m in US;
– the major volumes were achieved in Germany (280k hl vs. 1m total volumes), followed by US with 162k;
– the best mix continues to be in Japan with 4.4EUR per liter, the worst in Germany at 2EUR. Germany continues to show a deterioration, similarly to USA (from 3.36 one year ago to current 3.17);
– the graph below shows you how the +11% of exports is broken down: the main comment is about the stop of the deterioration of the mix as a whole.
